This service is designed to connect BeneCare members with state-licensed dentists — anytime of the day or night — in the event they experience a dental crisis while their regular dentist is unavailable.
24/7 SUMMARY ACCESS TO DENTAL CARE.
To support the electronic delivery of oral health services, BeneCare has entered into a strategic relationship with TeleDentistry.com, a recognized leader in the telehealth industry. The TeleDentistry.com technology platform enables BeneCare members to have a live consultation with a dentist using an internet enabled device, such as a tablet, smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer.
HOW TO REQUEST A VIRTUAL VISIT.
Any BeneCare member can request a virtual visit by logging into our secure member website. Once logged into the secure website, a member can click on the link located near the bottom of the page or call the number listed. The member must complete a brief health questionnaire and provide their insurance information prior to getting connected to a live dentist.1
This value-added service means that a dental consultation is never more than a click away when your regular dentist is unavailable. A virtual consultation can help a member triage a dental crisis; determine the best next step; and provide a referral to a participating BeneCare dentist for follow-up care, if necessary.
BENECARE PARTICIPATING DENTISTS.
If you’re a participating dentist in BeneCare’s network, you are welcome to offer your services to TeleDentistry.com to conduct virtual consultations or leverage its platform to offer virtual visits to patients in your practice. For more information, please contact TeleDentistry.com directly.
BeneCare offers Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Exclusive Provider (EPO) plans with customizable options for covered services, deductibles, coinsurance, and annual and lifetime limits.[i] Rates are available in three- and four-tiered plan structures.[ii] Other tier options are available and multi-year rate guarantees are available for qualified group plans.[iii]
