HIPAA compliant online Subscriber authorization to release information.
BeneCare now provides an online form for Subscribers to authorize the release of their protected health information, as required by various federal and state privacy laws, to their plan sponsor. Registered Subscribers can authorize their Sponsor to view protected health information (treatment and claims records) by clicking "Change Authorization to Release Information" and following the form's instructions, in the Account Options section of the BeneCare Subscriber's Home Page. Registered Plan Sponsors will then be able to view this information. This authorization can be revoked at any time by returning to the "Change Authorization to Release Information" page.
